Healthcare Design Magazine 2007 Architectural Showcase
daSILVA’s design for the new intensive care unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City is featured the Healthcare Design Magazine’s annual Architectural Showcase. Completed in April, 2007, the new 20-room ICU, designed specifically for critically ill cancer patients, features a wide range of advanced technical equipment, wired and wireless communication technologies and innovative finishes.

New York 2000
In a new book by Robert A.M. Stern, David Fishman and Jacob Tilove, describes the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers’ stylish neo-Modernist facade crowned by a roof terrace sheltered by a sixth-floor set-back penthouse punctured by three openings in a manner recalling the penthouse of Goodwin and Stone’s Museum of Modern Art (1939). The Kimmel Center, designed by daSILVA for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, is a specialized outpatient cancer center in New York City with both clinical and research facilities.
