Cardiovascular Center for Excellence
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, New York,
NY
daSILVA Architects is working in association with lead architecture firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners Architects LLP, to design a new infill building for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. The five-story structure will consist of 118,000 GSF and link two existing buildings to create a dramatic new entrance on 165th Street, with improved access and way finding, as well as additional meeting and practice space for physicians. The new facility includes an outpatient imaging department, expanded invasive cardiology outpatient surgery, ICU, dialysis center, and outpatient diagnostic and imaging suites. In order to create a continuous campus, a multi-story atrium with four sky-bridge levels will connect the three buildings.
