To accommodate the bank’s growth and additional space requirements, daSILVA was asked to update Westdeutsche Landesbank’s office interiors at 1185 Avenue of the America’s, which we had designed several years earlier. This new project involved a 33,500 SF redesign of executive offices, open plan staff areas, trading floor, and service spaces.
Conference rooms in the new offices feature custom millwork, including curved walls with cherry paneling and etched glass panels. The trading floor employs advanced technology, including multiple flat screen monitors with access to market data. Working with the client’s in-house staff, we were responsible for the selection of furniture and finishes throughout.
