daSILVA recently completed the design of an ambulatory care facility for North Shore/LIJ in Forest Hills, NY. The center is situated on two floors in a former office space. The scope of work included new finishes, ceilings, lighting, HVAC and electrical upgrades. daSILVA reconfigured the space to accommodate medical offices, examination rooms, reception areas and a state-of-art physical therapy studio. The space was designed to allow for maximum flexibility for future reconfiguration. Abundant daylight, a warm color palette and natural finishes were employed to create a soothing environment.
