At one time, deteriorating exteriors and poor interior layouts rendered the Town Hall of Pelham virtually unusable. Fortunately, the town commissioned daSILVA principal Anton Martinez to restore and modernize the facilities, to bring the space back to life.
The Town Hall’s exterior was cleaned, repaired and reappointed. The building received central air conditioning, and was made ADA compliant. The interior was restructured and modernized to increase the flow of movement and interaction between people. The building contains the town’s council offices, tax borough, clerk’s offices, and police department and overnight jail. Construction on the Community Center and Town Hall were completed simultaneously.
