daSILVA Architects redesigned, organized and reassigned use for Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s main campus gift shop. This project came up as part of the Food Service Master Plan that daSILVA completed. The gift shop’s long term use as light retail space was seen as depreciating value. With minimal reorganization and reassigning use within the same square footage Memorial Sloan-Kettering will see an increase in profits and will keep staff and clientele on site—seen as a way to boost sales within the food service department.
